As we approach the start of a new school year, we want to take a moment to emphasize the importance of keeping our children safe as they return to school. With the school year beginning soon, many students will be walking to and from school, as well as to and from their bus stops.
In light of this, we are launching a media blitz across our Facebook page, other social media platforms, and in our newsletters to remind everyone about the importance of driving with extra caution during this busy time. We also encourage you to share this message with friends and family to help spread the word.
Here are a few key points to keep in mind:
Slow Down: Reduce your speed, especially in school zones and residential areas.
Watch for Pedestrians: Be vigilant for children crossing the street or walking near bus stops.
Obey Traffic Signals: Always follow traffic signals and signs and be patient at crosswalks.
Additionally, we will be mailing a letter to all households to further emphasize the importance of these safety measures. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring our children have a safe and successful start to their school year.
Thank you for your attention to this important matter and for helping us create a safe community for our students.
